New Würth IT location opened in Würzburg
Würth IT has a new location in Würzburg. Opened on April 28, 2023, the site serves as a magnet for new talent and a model of the company's new-work approach. 40 employees and Managing Director of Würth IT, Dr. Thomas Burkhart, came to be present at the opening.
"We see Würzburg as an important location for attracting new talent to us," said Dr. Thomas Burkhart at the opening. The new location at Hubland is not only intended to ensure that employees from the greater Würzburg area have shorter commutes to work. With its proximity to Julius Maximilian University and the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences, Würth IT wants to attract talented IT specialists.
"New Work" is lived here
Würth IT's office space in John-Skilton-Strasse on Hubland currently offers room for 30 employees. This is where Würth IT is using the company's own New Work concept for the first time across the entire site: Fully equipped flexible workstations including a room booking system, a wide variety of meeting options and an interactive project room can be found here. "The new location is a model for our New Work strategy," adds Dr. Thomas Burkhart.
The ninth location for Würth IT in Germany
In addition to Bad Mergentheim, Berlin, Constance, Künzelsau, Schorndorf, Waldzimmern, Waldenburg and Niedernhall, Würzburg is now the ninth Würth IT location in Germany. The new location in Mainfranken is mainly staffed by colleagues from the SAP, IT support or finance departments.
