Würth IT is delighted to announce that the company has been awarded the "Germany's best training companies" seal. In addition, the company has been recognized as an sector winner in the "Training Atlas for Germany".

This honor is the result of a careful analysis by the Institute for Management and Economic Research on behalf of DEUTSCHLAND TEST, which examined the country's largest companies in terms of their training quality.

"This award confirms our efforts to attract and promote the best talent," says Christian Berndt, Managing Director of Würth IT. "Our investments in the training and development of our junior staff have paid off and we are proud to be officially recognized as an industry leader."

The Würth IT Training Concept

Over 80 competent and well-connected training officers look after every trainee at Würth IT, so that IT experts are always on hand to provide professional and personal support during the training and are happy to pass on their experience. This is the basis for the concept, which is made up of the modules "Experience experts", "Gain experience" and "Become an expert". Every new apprentice and student actively gets to know the working environment, takes on responsibility from day one and gains a wide range of practical experience. The Young Talents then actively contribute this acquired know-how and become experts in their field who continue to develop.

A Welcome Day is held a few weeks before the start of training, to which all new trainees and dual students and their parents are cordially invited. Here, the new Young Talents can get to know each other and take a look behind the scenes. During the first week of training, the Young Talents gain an initial insight into the locations, business areas, divisions and teams at Würth IT. New trainees are warmly welcomed into the trainee network and quickly find their feet. In addition, the Young Talents at Würth IT benefit from numerous further training opportunities, their own laptop, various cultural and fitness offers as well as free drinks and discounted meals in the canteens at the locations.

"The award as one of the best training companies in Germany and as the industry winner in the "Training Atlas Germany" is confirmation of our commitment to training. It shows that we can offer our trainees and students a unique environment and development opportunities," says Sabrina Christof, HR Officer for Young Talents at Würth IT.

The evaluation of the award was carried out in a two-stage process that included both extensive web analysis (social listening) and a detailed online questionnaire. In the first step, crawling, millions of public German-language internet sources were searched from February 2022 to January 2024 for mentions of the companies on the topics of employer performance and training. In the second step, processing, artificial intelligence technologies were used to evaluate and analyze the collected data. The tonality of the mentions was evaluated in relation to predefined keywords and points were awarded on the basis of tonality balance and reach.

In addition to social listening, the companies completed a structured online questionnaire that recorded self-assessments on topics such as training structure, remuneration, success and additional offers. The points from the web monitoring and the questionnaires were combined to form a provisional score and standardized for each industry, with Würth IT setting the benchmark as the best IT service provider in the industry with 100 points. The award recognizes the company's commitment to excellent training and the promotion of young talent.
