Recognition at the German medium-sized companies Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates Würth IT on being awarded the TOP 100 seal. The award ceremony at the summit took place on 28 June 2024 in Weimar for all medium-sized companies that received the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist is mentoring the innovation competition, which is being held for the 31st time. In the scientific selection process, Würth IT was particularly convincing in size class C (over 200 employees) in the "Innovative processes and organization" category. This is the second time that the company has been among the top innovators.
From the TOP 100 company portrait on the occasion of the award:
Over 1,300 employees in 12 business units at various locations: Würth IT is the IT service provider for over 400 Würth companies around the world. Whether it's SAP, Microsoft and Office applications, e-business or data centers for the Group, the IT experts always find a solution for their customers within the Würth Group. The topic of innovation is in the hands of the two Managing Directors Christian Berndt and Dr. Thomas Burkhart. "Innovation is a clear focus for us, because we must not lose sight of future customer needs," says Christian Berndt. It is important to him that management paves the way for creativity - but the ideas for innovations come from the employees themselves. Top management then translates the ideas into structured processes. Top management sees sustainability as the most important challenge in the coming years. "We encourage our employees to think about sustainability and climate protection measures in a variety of ways," says Dr. Thomas Burkhart.
