Würth IT is delighted to welcome 23 schoolgirls to Girls' Day again this year. On April 3, 2025, the Würth Group's IT service provider opened its doors to schoolgirls in Berlin and Waldzimmern to offer them an exciting insight into the world of technology and innovation.
"Girls' Day is a great opportunity to show young women the wide range of opportunities in the IT industry and to get them interested in technical professions," says Anna-Lena Kreuder, Young Talents HR Officer at Würth IT, who was in charge of Girls' Day at the Waldzimmern site. A total of 23 young schoolgirls took part in these exciting activities, gaining valuable experience in the various workshops and expanding their knowledge.
In Waldzimmern, the day began at 8:30 am with a warm welcome. A game to get to know each other created a relaxed atmosphere right at the start. To kick things off, there was a programming task based on the movie "The Ice Queen - No Frozen". "We want to show schoolgirls that IT is not only exciting, but also future-proof. Girls' Day offers the perfect platform for this," says HR Officer for Young Talents Sabrina Christof.
Furthermore, the students' technical understanding was trained through networking tasks, a playful activation and an interactive career orientation quiz. The joint lunch break in the barista bar at the Waldzimmern site allowed the participants to exchange ideas and get to know each other better.
Würth IT is always happy to support young people and inspire them for the technological future. Girls' Day is one of the company's many initiatives aimed at recognizing and promoting talent.
